IrishCentral.com reports that they have made two arrests in connection with the murder. James Blackton, 26, and a 19-year-old, both Americans, are reportedly in custody.
PerezHilton.com reported that one of the men arrested was one of Nicki Minaj’s backup dancers, who was not only suspected of murder, but also of rape. Minaj rebuffed the claim in a series of tweets:
> @PerezHilton my dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan
— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) May 31, 2012
@PerezHilton that person on your sight is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information.
