After parting ways with Jive Records and finding a new label home at L.A. Reid’s Epic Records, Ciara has announced the title of her upcoming fifth album and single.
During an interview with MTV to promote the new Adam Sandler film That’s My Boy, Ciara revealed that her new LP will be called One Woman Army and that the single “Sweat” will arrive soon.
“I’m excited. I’m back with L.A. Reid, who is the reason why I’m here,” she said. It’s 10 years since, and I’m finishing up my album called One Woman Army. You guys are going to be in for a treat very soon, my new single ‘Sweat’ will be coming as well.”
Her last album, Basic Instinct, debuted at No. 44 on the Billboard 200 with 37,000 copies sold. It marked her lowest selling debut on the charts in her career.
