Eminem hopped on the phone with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg to announce that his Shady Records signees Slaughterhouse will be performing at Summer Jam, taking place on June 3rd.

The Detroit, Michigan rapper announced that the quartet will hit the stage during the event, which will also feature performances from Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Maybach Music Group and more.

Slaughterhouse performing Summer Jam, June 3rd,” he said, sharing advice for the group. “Just be themselves. Be them. I really feel like, this group, like you said, I feel like Hip Hop needs this. And I think people will see when this album comes out.”

Marshall Mathers also revealed that he has begun work on the follow-up project to 2010’s Recovery.
