L.E.P. Bogus Boys recently received a shout-out from Kanye West on his remix of Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like,” a co-sign that Count and Moonie are taking in stride. During an interview with XXLMag.com, the pair spoke on the name-checking and explained that they’ve known ‘Ye for some time now.

“That was big,” said Count. “We knew Kanye since way back, before Rocafella.” Moonie added, “We been messin’ with Kanye for some years, though, so Kanye has always been the homie, so we definitely appreciate Kanye for shouting us out.”

They also confirmed that West sent over a verse, beat and hook for a track on their upcoming mixtape Don’t Feed Da Killaz 4, dropping in June, and that they appreciate the look.

“He looked out for us like, ‘I got a song for y’all that I think will fit you good,’” said Moonie. “He sent it over. He did the verse, he did the beat and he did the hook. He didn’t have to do a song with us, but with us being longtime friends…one hand wash the other. Whatever we could do for Kanye on the back end, we there.”
