Earl Sweatshirt Launches Label, Plans Debut & Tyler, The Creator Collaboration

Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt has yet to release a solo album. However the teen-emcee now has a Columbia Records-distributed record label. Tan Cresada is Earl’s home, according to The New York Times, who recently did a feature on the Los Angeles, California-based rapper and his family.

The label is planning to release a collaborative album between Earl and band-mate Tyler, The Creator called EarlWolf. Tan Cresada also has plans for Earl’s studio debut and a project by another OFWGKTA member, The Internet.

In the Times feature, Earl confirmed his time at Samoa’s Coral Reef Academy, and notes his plans to change some misogynistic lyrics heard on 2010’s Earl project. Earl appeared on a single song on Odd Future’s March release, OF Tape, Vol. 2.

    1. yessss. this guy is the dopest MC in ofwgkta by far and even puts most rappers today to shame. can’t wait for earlwolf.

      1. Considering that he is currently 17, i would say he is very special in terms of lyricism….and it doesn’t really seem like hes trying

      2. He is as good, if not better, than people think he is. This lil niggas flow is on another planet.

    2. all we ever read on this shitty website is about Fat ass rick ross, Kendrick lamars Dr. Dre affiliation and this over-hyped nerdy kid who doesn’t even handle his own money. Wow Rap is so cool……….no…its not.

      1. Nope…It is working out well for Tyler and Earl is the future so he gets whatever he wants

    3. finally earlwolf!! this shit is epic. not to many groups get exclusive deals like this…

      1. Dont even bother, every odd future fan are like 14-16 years of age. they don’t even know who Metal Fingers is.

      2. DOOM and Eminem are his biggest influences, every new artist sounds like somebody.Better DOOM than Wayne, who most of these newbies wanna sound like.
