Two Hip Hop stars from different eras have partnered with Reebok Classics to perform two respective concerts. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Eve will take the stage in her hometown’s Kung Fu Necktie on May 9. Next month, on June 13, Rakim will perform in front of his fellow New York’s Joe’s Pub.
Also an actress, the hometown performance is part of a comeback for Eve, who has not released a solo album since 2002’s Eve-Olution. Her forthcoming effort is reportedly titled Lip Lock.
Rakim last released The Seventh Seal in 2009.
