In March, Curren$y filed a $1.5 million lawsuit against former associate Damon Dash, claiming that he had been illegally selling his album The Muscle Car Chronicles. Though he’s remained relatively tightlipped about the situation, Spitta spoke with XXLMag.com about the suit, keeping his statements vague but offering some insight.

“I don’t know what we gonna do, but when it’s all said and done, I’ll tell y’all about it,” he said.

Though the situation is still pending, the New Orleans, Louisiana native says that he’s learned from his experience with Dash and working with DD172.

“Not ever disappointed,” he said. “Any situation I ever been through I look at it as a lesson. Just learning something.  It’s not something you should be disappointed from. It should be a opportunity for you to get some game. It’s all good. I’m glad. I’m glad.”
