A&M Records emcee K’Naan has announced that he has released a free 7″ vinyl record in honor of Record Store Day (April 21). The veteran Somali-born, Toronto-based emcee/singer has pressed up his Bob Dylan cover of “With God On Our Side” with B-side “Waiting Is A Drug.” The record will appear in participating stores, placed at random, as supplies last.
The Dylan tribute appeared on Amnesty International’s Chimes Of Freedom charity album.
Additionally, K’Naan, who released the charting More Beautiful Than Silence EP in February of this year, has released a series of promotional videos for the effort.
