E-40 will never be remembered like Dre, but strictly from an album perspective, it takes Dre 10 + years to contemplate whether he wants to do Detox, while a Bay Area rapper cranks out 3 albums at a time, two years in a row. Hip hop music was never like that when it started many years ago. You don’t rock or whatever other music but in hip hop, just giving away a bunch of trash in hopes that somebody like it. And as far as the indie game E-40 laid the blueprint for alot of these new artist to eat the way they are right now. West coast started that not the south or the east so for people to talk like this man isn’t one of the best that ever did it is kidding them selves.
