Following the release of his mixtape I Love Life, Thank You in October 2011, Mac Miller is already set to release another giveaway to fans. During an interview with Fuse, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native spoke on his upcoming mixtape Macadelic, due next month, which he refers to has his “craziest shit” and says will be his most personal project yet.

“You’re going to get to know me the most on this project than I think you have on any other project,” he said. “The lyrics are a lot more personal. I really did some soul-searching on this one and looked inside myself. Macadelic is a journey through my mind to let people inside what I’ve been thinking about and what I think about my whole situation.”

Mac says that the mixtape is “pretty much finished,” and will feature guest appearances from Cam’ron and Mikey Rocks as well as other artists. He warned that Macadelic is going to be different from what fans are accustomed to getting from the rapper.

“Musically, it’s definitely a lot of different stuff than what people are used to. It’s honest. I think that I just let my guard down and opened up,” he continued. It’s a process to do as an artist to get to a point where you really open up in your music and really speak your mind for real. So I think this is my step in that direction.”
