After the influx of Valentine’s Day themed mixtapes from last week, we’re ready to get back into the grind of Hip Hop. This week, Prodigy comes through with “H.N.I.C. 3.” It’s good to see P back on his grind and cosigning young guns, well gunz, like Cory Gunz on “Great Spitters.”
Juvenile’s been teasing us with “Mardi Gras,” and as far as we know, the tape is still slated for a release this week on 2/21 (same as Prodigy) aka “Fat Tuesday.” Juvie dropped the title track to the mixtape recently.
Meanwhile, that Wiz Khalifa mixtape may actually become a reality soon. The Taylor Gang bossman dropped the Juicy J-assisted cut “My Favorite Song” this week, rumored to be on “Taylor Allderdice.” Here’s hoping that arrives pretty soon. Last year we discussed that Ruff Ryders had a collaborative album arriving. That album never came, but “Past, Present, Future” the mixtape will…on February 22nd. Remember when Stalley said he’d reveal his release date for “Savage Journey to the American Dream” via Twitter after he reaches 50k in followers? Well, he’s still clocking in at a little over 47k, so if you really want to find out when that’s coming, you should follow him.
