There were no new Rap additions to the charts in the last week. Christian Hip Hop Lecrae‘s late 2010 album Rehab made one of its many cameo appearances in the Top 200 (#181, approaching 150,000 overall units) while 2012’s sole release on the charts in the last week was Yo Gotti‘s major label debut, Live From The Kitchen (#116).

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV Within Striking Distance Of Double Platinum

After scoring a blockbuster, triple-platinum album in 2008’s Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne is on the verge of potentially scoring more multi-platinum honors with his latest work. 2011’s Tha Carter IV, which features the likes of Nas, Tech N9ne and Andre 3000, may reach 2 million sold domestically by the end of February.
