While Missy Elliott’s follow-up to 2005’s The Cookbookis nearing Detox-like delays, and Timbaland’s last release was 2009’s Shock Value II, it appears the frequent collaborators are ready to drop their next solo projects – at the same time.

“Me and Missy are both coming with our albums at the same time, and it will be in June,” explained Timbo in an interview with MTV News.

“Right now, we’re preparing to get both our videos, our first singles, shot kinda at the same time,” he added. “We want to do it as a movement and spontaneously.”

Both Timbaland and Missy have continued producing in between solo projects, with the duo collaborating on Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long” from the singer’s 2011 album Unbroken.

“I just don’t want to move too ahead of her and she don’t want to move too ahead of me,” explained Timbaland. “So we’re both doing it at the same time.”
