Yesterday (February 5), New Orleans, Louisiana emcee Curren$y released Here, a free EP. The Warner Brothers Records artist tweeted that he was going to record all the songs yesterday and then release them to fans online. True to his word, the five-song project released last night. The lone guest appearance is from The Jets.
“Pay Attention” is among the songs.
Last year, the former Young Money and No Limit Records artist released a retail mixtape in Weekend At Burnie’s and a free collaborative project with Alchemist in Covert Coupe. Both releases were featured in the HipHopDX Top 25 Albums of 2011 and Top 10 Mixtapes of 2011 respectively.
The entire tape can be found at Complex.com.
