He’s been a rapper, actor, record company owner and producer, but Dr. Dre has never done the movies like this. Dr. Dre is said to be in production scoring his first movie. Dr. Dre is taking over the boards to score the one of the summer’s biggest film’s “Bad Boys 2” starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith according to MTV.
Although Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and his label Bad Boy Records is releasing the soundtrack on his label the score for the film will be done separately. The soundtrack album that will be in stores on July 15th features the likes of Nelly, Murphy Lee, 50 Cent, Beyonce Knowles, Lenny Kravitz, Jay-Z and P.Diddy and the Bad Boy family. Although its not known if the score will be released as another album, this is not the only project Dr. Dre is working on. Dr. Dre can be seen on in the new movie “Hollywood Homicide”, but as usual on the music front he is busier than ever. Currently in the studio working on Eve, Ice Cube and his own final album Dr. Dre seems to enjoy his reign as one of the most wanted producers out there.
