Saigon Releases Cover Art & Tracklist For “Warning Shots 3”

Veteran New York emcee Saigon took to Twitter this weekend to announce his early 2012 release plans. After releasing his long-delayed The Greatest Story Never Told just under a year ago, the Abandoned Nation founder revealed that he’s continuing his collaborative history with mentor Just Blaze.

On January 24, 2012, Just Blaze and Saigon will release Warning Shots 3: One Foot In The Grave. In his tweets, Saigon called the project a “mixtape/street album,” which

Saigon said, “One Foot In The Grave is a fucking masterpiece.” Noting that the Roc-A-Fella Records hit-maker is the host, Sai continued, “It’s a little different than [Greatest Story Never Told, this is] some Yardfather shit,” referring to his pivotal early ’00s work.

Both previous Warning Shots releases were available at retail.

    1. Fuck yes! Can’t wait, GSTN is still the album of the year by far. The only thing I missed were some street bangers, but his next projects seems to aim at that. Should be great.

    2. The Yardfather Vol. 1 & 2 were classic mixtapes, looking forward to this. I liked Greatest Story… but I prefer Saigon when he’s aggressive

    3. Real “creative” title! Did this asshole read ** any ** books in prison?! Or was just there because he was too fucking dumb to get away with it?

Dude was never a “G,” just a goddamn knucklehead.

      1. i agree, dudes need to chill on the trailers for music videos as well,

they didnt do that shit in the 90s son

    4. It’s been a minute since a new mixtape came out that I could get excited about. Whether I gotta pay or it’s a free DL, I’ll be owning this on the release date.

    5. yo saigon is my dude but im not digging the new phase he’s in….always half naked and shit….that shit aint cool son…put on a fucking shirt my nigga…u look like one of these sweet faggot rap niggas…and you ARE NOT LIKE THEM….bro ur music changed my life my nigga….all i ask is u put a shirt on cuz u starting too look a lil too oiled up and toned…feel me?

    6. Ugliest artwork I’ve ever seen… At least the music will be dope, but COME ON SAI! You make man music, quit posing for females!

    7. Say Yes without Alc? IDK about that man. You can’t re-do a banger like that without having the person who produced it do it for ya.
