T-Pain Taps Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, R. Kelly & More For “rEVOLVEr”

Earlier this week, T-Pain announced that his oft-delayed album rEVOLVEr will finally arrive on December 6th, revealing the cover art via his Twitter account. In a press release, Teddy P said that the LP is seven albums pared down to one final product.

rEVOLVEr is drawn from seven albums’ worth of material,” he said. “There are so many different things on this album. I couldn’t settle on what I wanted to include, but the final result I think will really hit all of my fans and different audiences. I’ve developed a new audience from the Taylor Swift stuff, the Bud Light and Toshiba commercials, the T-Pain Mic and App.  There is music for everyone on this album, but definitely still classic T-Pain at the same time.”

T-Pain, who is currently on Chris Brown’s “F.A.M.E.” tour, has already released the single “5 O’Clock” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen. The track recently became Billboard Hot 100’s greatest gainer/digital after two weeks on the chart.

    1. So he’s basically saying: “All my old fans have abandoned me after 3 years of waiting for new music to be replaced by temporary fans who know me from endorsement deals, so I’m making an album with such a diverse sound from song-to-song that chances are, there’ll only be one or two songs that actually appeal to somebody.”

      Good strategy?

    2. FUCK THE REST OF THE ALBUM THOUGH!! AFTER HAVING WEEZY OPEN THE ALBUM THERE’S NOWHERE TO GO BUT STRAIGHT TO THE TRASH!! WAYNE DA MUTHAFUCKIN BEST!!! NO QUESTION!

      1. Your not a Lil Wayne fan at all. The new form of hate is to over exaggerate an artist’s greatness, in hopes of making people hate that artist. What you are doing won’t work, because people can see through your simple tactics.

    3. really looking forward to the track w/ kellz. going by the title, that has the potential to be a pretty deep soulful RnB track, the type of stuff pain had on his first 2 albums

    4. see, “gay mafia”. t pain “taps” these dudes for his album? who talks like that except gay people. we need some hetero people not using things that sound like a homo’s play on words for the titles of articles
