This past week in the mixtape world was all about gratitude. Mac Miller celebrated his escalated success by dropping “I Love Life, Thank You” this weekend for the fans. The mixtape boasts features from vets like Bun B on “All That” along with Talib Kweli on the previously released “Family First.” Mac’s been hitting Twitter milestones one by one, coupled with jumping on Maroon 5’s remix for “Moves Like Jagger” with Christina Aguilera, along with dropping his debut Blue Slide Park on November 8th. Sounds like Mac Miller is pretty busy, so who knows when he’ll deliver his “’92 Til Infinity” mixtape with DJ Jazzy Jeff. Fresh off the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher , Bad Boy signee/DXNext alum Machine Gun Kelly chose to show his own thanks by dropping “Rage Pack,” a collection of tracks MGK’s dropped thus far. Freeway has a similar plan, with “The Intermission” coming soon (but no tentative date yet).

Inching their way back into music are Ron Browz and Dorrough Music. Browz is dropping “The Christening” today. Meanwhile, Dorrough Music will bring “Silent Assassin” a week later on October 25th with DJ Drama.

The R&B world has been going hard on the mixtape front as well. Estelle (who also wowed the masses at the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher ) is gearing to drop “AOM: The Prequel” with DJ Don Cannon today. The UK starlet is known for jumping back and forth from rhyming to singing. This mixtape should be no exception. Another singer who moonlights as a rapper is Trey Songz. Trigga is preparing for his double release “#Lemmeholdatbeat2” and “Anticipation 2” back-to-back on November 1st. These mixes will serve to satisfy fans of rapper Trey and singer Trey. The same day 2Chainz will drop “T.R.U. REALigion.” In other limbo news, Fred the Godson will drop his Gangsta Grillz “City Of God” soon. The rook leaked the track “Hip Hop ” with none other than the Mad Rapper. Is D-Dot looking for a new protege? Maybe it’s the God.
