Long-time Los Angeles rapper Kid Frost was released last night from Methodist Hospital of Southern California after suffering a mild stroke. The former Ruthless Records vet tweeted pictures of himself in the hospital bed along with a message implying that he suffers from diabetes:
He checked out of the hospital after having several tests done including an MRI and Ultrasound.
Frost is the father of the Get Busy Committee’s Scoop Deville, also a solid West Coast fixture and producer of a considerable library of Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, and many others’ music. Frost released his biggest record, “La Raza” in 1990, and has collaborated with peers Ice-T, Kurupt, and Xzibit.
