Karmaloop TV recently chopped it up with G.O.O.D. Music signee CyHi Da Prynce to discuss his long awaited debut album. The Atlanta, GA emcee revealed his studio debut’s titled The Hard Way Musical, and said that while he hasn’t begun recording tracks for the impending album, fans should keep their eyes peeled for the upcoming release date.

“I just started working on my album, my debut album will be coming very soon, [titled] The Hard Way Musical,” he said. “It’s gonna be epic. I just started like a month ago. I actually haven’t recorded any records, I’ve been gathering ideas and gathering different things that I want to do with it. I’ve been doing a lot of research…[it’ll be] executive produced by the man himself, Mr. Kanye West.”

CyHi also linked up with MTV’s Mixtape Daily to discuss his latest mixtape with DJ Scream and DJ Spinz Jack of All Trades. The Atlanta rapper explained why he look to a variety of other artists’ hits, including Jay-Z, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DJ Khaled, Outkast and more. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper said he chose such a wide range of beats to display his versatility to critics.

“It’s just me showing my versatility and that I’m a jack of all trades,” he said. “Slow beats, fast beats, mid-tempos, whatever; rugged, pop, I can rap on it all. Gospel, country – whatever you want to give me, I can do. So I think Jack of All Trades shows that I’m a jack of all trades.”
