On October 5th, Cam’ron and Vado will release their retail mixtape “Boss Of All Bosses 3.” Before all of that, that dynamic duo opted to drop “Boss Of All Bosses 2.8,” a mixtape full of some ups and downs and cutting room floor tracks to tide everyone over before the real deal arrives next month. What this means for Cam’ron’s solo mixtape “Family Ties Vol. 1” (which was supposed to drop before “Boss Of All Bosses 3”) we don’t really know. The smoke is still settling from Young Jeezy surprisingly dropping “The Real Is Back 2” (check out the review), who coincidentally announced just a few days later that TM103 would be pushed back a while. His CTE protege Freddie Gibbs still has “A Cold Day In Hell” in the works. Hopefully it won’t be a cold day in hell before the mixtape actually drops.
Someone who doesn’t seem to be pushing anything back is Styles P. Holiday Styles has been shooting off freestyles left and right, from “She Will”
to “Marvin’s Room” to “HiiiPoWer” to “On My Level” and many more, Styles has been keeping the street hot for his mixtape “The World’s Most Hardest MC” in preparation of his Master Of Ceremonies album coming October 4th. The date for the mixtape is still unknown. While we wait for Styles, we can also wait for fellow D-Block brother Jadakiss, who has “Top 5 Dead Or Alive” coming at some point. Since Pusha T has Fear Of God 2: Let Us Pray arriving on September 27th, perhaps “Long Live the ‘Caine” will be dropping soon too. Let the waiting game continue.
