Los Angeles, California emcee/producer Blu has had a busy 2011. The Sire Records artist released three independent works, Amnesia, Her Favorite Colo(u)r, and J e s u s (coming later this month). All three of those works, previously offered for free download, have been mixed, mastered and formally released by Brooklyn, New York’s Nature Sounds imprint. Nature Sounds has now announced that Blu has a fourth work planned, Open.
Open is Blu’s first production concept album, featuring 14 tracks, which are accompanied by various emcees, including Fresh Daily and longtime collaborator Sene. In 2009, Blu produced Sene’s ADayLateAndADollarShort album, which was released under both artists’ names.
Blu is presently working on his major label debut, No York, planned for later this year.

your formula is quite simple. get with exile, hands off the beats, and just make a great album… all the extra shit dont really work for you. getting tired of those sub-par releases, after below the heavens i was a fan and followed everything. theres some jewels here and there but overall you f up your body of work…
