Arrests Made In Murder Of Rapper Kampane

Police have arrested an ex-con whom they believe shot rapper Kampane in the head in a vacant Englewood home, set fire to the building, recovered the rapper’s charred body the next day, and left it in  the rear cargo of his SUV.

Randy K. Manning and two accused accomplices are being held in connection with the crime, reports the Cliffview Pilot . Manning is being held on $2 million bail.

Authorities have “not ruled out the possibility of further arrests, including other(s) who may have been aware of the murder and who may have assisted Manning in its coverup,” said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli early Saturday (August 20) afternoon.

According to the prosecutor, Manning shot Kampane in the head and chest several times with a .40-caliber handgun.

“The shooting may have been related to a dispute or involvement over money,” said Molinelli.

The accused accomplices are Delroy Clarke, 23, and Natuchka Etienne, 23. The latter is Manning’s girlfriend. Clarke allegedly picked up Manning after recovering the charred body. Clarke is being held on $50,000 bail, charged with hindering Manning’s apprehension.

Etienne allegedly “tried to create a false alibi” for Manning. She is being held on $10,000 bail.

Manning, who was convicted in 2008 of eluding police, is now charged with murder, felony murder, burglary, illegal weapons possession, desecration of human remains, arson, witness tampering and hindering apprehension.

    1. Never trust a bitch. They only loyal to money. Especially black women. Yes, I’m a black dude so I can say it, and its tru.

    2. That crab in a bucket shit is something only WE do to our ppl when they try to big up they own hood. Like Stack Bundles. Lesson is if you get even a tiny bit of success- move out the hood- and your real fiends can come see you- but dont go back even to visit.

    3. Wow, fucked up, I can’t say I even understand the situation, I’ve been lucky enough to have work and the opportunity to live above the poverty line. I can’t imagine killing somebody for money, or out of anger, but I’m thinking that desperate people with do almost anything to get by, and people in the hood have been oppressed for so long that they know no other way of getting that cash. People need to stand up and start teaching one another how to get by in positive ways, where people with so much talent aren’t weighted in the balance, when they try to bring others on. RIP Kampane…We’ve lost too much in Hip Hop already…
