It hasn’t even been a full year since Twista dropped his latest album, 2010’s The Perfect Storm, and already the Chicago emcee is hard at work on his next project. News broke earlier today that Twista is now currently working on his new album, titled The Dark Horse.
According to Fake Shore Drive, Twista is currently in Los Angeles working on The Dark Horse with frequent collaborator and fellow Chi-Town Hip Hop alum the Legendary Traxster. A picture of the two working in the studio on the project can be seen above.
Twista also took to Twitter to confirm the news that he has begun work on ninth solo album. He even hinted that he may be looking to work with the legendary DJ Premier on the project.
The Dark Horse will mark Twista’s third release in three years. There is no word as to when the album will drop or on what label it will be released. DX will keep you updated as more information comes to light.
