If there was one common complaint about Jay’s “The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Curse,” it was that should have only been a single album. It looks as if Jay thinks so too. On April 8th, Jay-Z will release “The Blueprint 2.1.”

This version will only be a single album, a collection of Jay’s favorite songs from the album. It includes “The Watcher 2,” “Excuse Me Miss,” “Guns & Roses,” “Meet The Parents,” “A Dream,” “Hovi Baby” and “Bonnie Clyde ’03.”

There will also be two unreleased songs included on the album, although nothing has been announced yet, there is some speculation. Possibilities include his Aaliyah tribute, “Miss U,” the Timbaland produced “Get My Shit Off,” or the Swizz Beats produced “Stop.”
