Compton, California rapper B.G. Knocc Out is best known for his appearance with then-rhyme-partner Dresta on Eazy E’s 1993 hit single “Real Muthaphuckkin’ G’s.” The famous diss song against Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would help launch a career for B.G., who with Dresta, would release Real Brothas in 1995.

Having spent much of the last 15 years in prison for a shooting conviction and others, B.G. Knocc Out has yet to deliver a solo debut. Instead, the rapper appeared on albums from Flesh-N-Bone, DJ Yella and most recently, Tha Dogg Pound’s 2007 LP, Dogg Chit. DubCNN.com reported this weekend that B.G. Knocc Out is planning his debut by year’s end. Additionally, the veteran plans to re-release Real Brothas, the out-of-print album that was executive produced by DJ Quik’s former manager “Greedy” Greg.
