Fans might have to wait longer to get Ryan Leslie’s first independent release. The singer/rapper previously revealed that he would drop Les is More on July 4th, but has opted to delay the project until he can give it a proper marketing push.

The former Universal Motown artist took to Twitter to announce that the follow-up to Transition will not see the light of day until all the cards are in order.

He linked to his Facebook page, where he posted a picture of him and a group of fans that appeared on July 3rd in New York City, New York to snap the promo shot. So far, R. Les has released “Glory” and “Joan of Arc” from the album as official and promotional singles.

UPDATE: Ryan Leslie has announced the release of his oft-delayed third album Les is More, due on June 5th.
