For the fifth week in a row, HipHopDX is giving you you the 10 most popular singles on the site from the past week. After every week our staff will give you the ranked list since the past Monday, based on visits. These numbers are reflective from the time of posting.

Drake Reclaims The Top

Previous winner Drake was back, with “Trust Issues.” This reflective song’s intentions are unclear. However, Toronto’s Young Money star is slated to begin formal promotion of Take Care next week. Previously, “Marvin’s Room” dominated the Top 10, which even made an encore appearance this week at #4 – proving that Drizzy remains at the peak of reader interest.

Fathers Day Heals All Beefs

For Father’s Day DX posted an 11 year-old track by Jay-Z featuring then Roc La Familia Beanie Sigel. While the posting may have confused those not in the know, it was a great reminder to the many lyrical themes about fathers there are in Rap. Moreover, while it probably will never happen, the Broad Street Bully and the Brooklyn Baller had a strong collaborative career. Those not up on it should listen or purchase that Dynasty album. Those were great times.
