Legendary emcee-turned-actor Ice-T will continue his role of Detective Fin Tutuola on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU).
It was announced yesterday on Twitter by the 53 year-old, that he has signed on for two more seasons, with the potential for more.
EXCLUSIVE: I’ve just locked in my new SVU deal.. So I’ll officially be back for the next 2 years at least. DONE

Ice-T has been on SVU since 2000. During his tenure with the popular series, Ice-T has released one studio album, 2006’s Gangsta Rap. Previously, Ice-T was a full-time cast member of NBC’s Players in 1997 and 1998.
