R&B veteran Jewell (a/k/a Jewell Caples) is known for her work alongside iconic Hip Hop stars like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac. The former Death Row Records artist and 26-year vet has announced that she is at work on her upcoming solo debut, Blood, Sweat & Tears as well as an autobiography.

In between her 1992-1996 tenure at Suge Knight and Dr. Dre’s famous Death Row Records, Jewell worked and appeared on classic albums such as The Chronic, Doggystyle and All Eyez On Me. In the 15 years since her departure the Dre protege has worked with Benzino, Tru-Life and pornographic film star Jake Steed’s Rap album.

Another former Death Row female artist, ’00s-era SKG, penned a book last year. Blood, Sweat & Tears will release by Best Hand Entertainment later this year.
