Big Boi was previously named spokesperson for Crown Royal Black, and their partnership is reaching new mediums. The OutKast member is set to star in “The Crown Life,” a mini-documentary that follows the Atlanta, Georgia rapper in various aspects of his daily life.

The short film, directed by Hudson Dusters for Greenpoint Pictures, shows Big Boi performing at the 2011 Grammy Awards, recording at his studio Stankonia and hitting up ATL establishments including the supermarket where he jokingly asks a fellow shopper to point out the turkey dogs. The flick, which features appearances from Melanie Fiona and Killer Mike, will debut next week.

“Crown Royal is my drink of choice, and I’m proud to be the first to put my own spin on The Crown Life,” said Big Boi in a statement. “The design of the iconic pouch, the film we’ve created, and the products these incredible designers produced were all inspired by how we like to commemorate life. It’s about celebrating the moments that make up our everyday lives, and doing so respectfully and responsibly.”
