The Bronx community is set to play host to a star-studded block party. has teamed up with the Bronx Borough President’s Office to throw the 1st Annual Bronx Hip-Hop Block Party, celebrating the birthplace of hip-hop with a day’s worth of activities.

The event, taking place on Sunday, May 15th from 1-4 p.m., will transpire at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, located at 1040 Grand Concourse in Bronx, New York. Hosted by Wordsmith, the party will feature a proclamation from Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz JR to DJ Mister Magic, with the Juice Crew and Tyrone “Fly Ty” Williams scheduled to accept.

The Block Party will also include a demonstration by DJ Scratch and a live interview with Maya The B, as well as music from DJ K-Swift and DJ Boof.

Celebrity appearances include Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Lord Finesse, Large Professor, Neek the Exotic, Cuban Link, Grafh, Pebblee Poo, Zulu Nation, Chip Fu, Grand Daddy I.U., Ma Barker, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Rayvon, D. Chamberz and more. Neek the Exotic & Large Professor, Juice Crew 3G and Wordsmith and slated to perform.
