The Bronx community is set to play host to a star-studded block party. ProwaxMusic.com has teamed up with the Bronx Borough President’s Office to throw the 1st Annual Bronx Hip-Hop Block Party, celebrating the birthplace of hip-hop with a day’s worth of activities.

The event, taking place on Sunday, May 15th from 1-4 p.m., will transpire at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, located at 1040 Grand Concourse in Bronx, New York. Hosted by Wordsmith, the party will feature a proclamation from Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz JR to DJ Mister Magic, with the Juice Crew and Tyrone “Fly Ty” Williams scheduled to accept.

The Block Party will also include a demonstration by DJ Scratch and a live interview with Maya The B, as well as music from DJ K-Swift and DJ Boof.
