Not everyone can afford Kanye West. Former NBC executive Jeff Zucker took over the Four Seasons last night for his son’s bar mitzvah, but apparently couldn’t meet Yeezy’s asking price to perform at the lavish event.

Zucker decided to forgo Kanye’s performance fee of $1 million and settle for Drake, who cost considerably less than the G.O.O.D. Music leader. The fete, which cost an estimated $250,000, featured Drizzy performing for guests, who were treated to “tremendous” and fine wines as well as customized Converse sneakers as gifts.

According to sources close to the action, Zucker considered shelling out $800,000 for Kanye, but decided to go with the cheaper option. Also during the party, attendees including Katie Couric munched on lamb, chicken, steak, sushi and “every type of pasta you could think of.”
