Ludacris is going green. The Atlanta, Georgia rapper is taking an eco initiative and promoting Green Earth Technologies (GET), announcing that he’s switching to the company’s G-OIL motor oil to better protect Mother Earth.

“I’m going to change my oil and change the world! I’m switching to a GREEN high performance made-in-America motor oil, G-OIL,” wrote Luda on his Facebook page.

G-OIL is an alternative to regular fossil fuels to ease humanity’s effects on the atmosphere and global warming. According to a press release, the eco-friendly fuel is “made of a blend of nature’s American grown base oils and the first U.S. produced ultimate biodegradable bio-based motor oil to be approved by the American Petroleum Institute.”

The rapper-turned-actor has been expanding his business ventures, most recently linking with Magnum condoms to promote its “Next Big Thing” contest and working with the City of Los Angeles to raise awareness for childhood diabetes. He can currently be seen on the big screen in Fast Five and is working on his upcoming album Ludaversal.
