Big K.R.I.T. took 2010 by storm when the emcee/producer from Meridian, Mississippi released one of the most acclaimed mixtapes of the year in K.R.I.T. Wuz Here.

His follow up Returnof4eva has quickly been ear-marked as one of the years most anticipated projects, particularly after standout tracks “Dreamin‘” and “American Rapstar” were released.

Unfortunately fans will have to wait another week, as the King Remembered In Time announced yesterday he won’t release it until March 28.

(March 22)

UPDATE: Big K.R.I.T. spoke with HipHopDX this morning, and confirmed that Returnof4eva is now planned for March 28 free-release. “I just needed a few days. South By Southwest proved to be difficult for me [to release Returnof4eva the Tuesday after]. If I would have dropped it on the 22nd, it wouldn’t have had certain skits that it needed to have, and the mix on some of songs wasn’t as [EQ’d] as I wanted them to be. It was some features that I was gettin’…and I had [missed] my deadline at the time. Now that I had the extra six days, I could get these features. It was really important to me. When people hear it, they’ll understand.”
