In a recent video interview with AfroToe.com, Young Money rapper Cory Gunz speaks on the “6 Foot, 7 Foot” video and gives an update on his MTV reality show.

According to Cory the March 3 release of the “6 Foot 7 Foot” music video actually came as quite the surprise due to the fact that the video was initially scheduled to be released at an earlier date.

“I didn’t even know it was gonna come out. I was under the impression that it was gonna be out a few weeks ago. It was supposed to come out a while ago like last month, but finishing touches [were] being added to it and things,” Cory Gunz explained to AfroToe.com. “I got it just as surprised as everybody else did. My reaction was the same I think with everyone else’s. Amazing. Hype Williams did his thing. It was amazing.”

Cory also spoke on his upcoming reality show and revealed that they’re currently dealing with legal problems in regards to the show. The Bronx rapper revealed that executive producer Nick Cannon has been dealing with issues with the shows name, Son Of A Gun.

“I really don’t know exactly what’s going on cause it’s with Nick, Nick Cannon,” said Cory. “It’s with Nick and a couple of other guys. They had the title for it at first, but for other things merchandise and other things…It’s not really a big issue that’s crazy.”

Legal issues aside the show is still scheduled to air on MTV in April although it’s unclear if they’ll keep the original name.

“We finished. We actually finished the first season. It’ll be out April 28. It comes on after America’s Best Dance Crew at 11 o’clock. It’s late. I don’t think any kids should be up that late watching the show. It’s dope. It’ll still be cool. Real Hip Hop. “
