It has been reported that Eminem will jumpstart this year’s Grammy Awards by opening up the show. Now, it seems he may not only be performing his solo cuts as rumors are swirling that Shady will be accompanied by Dr. Dre to perform “I Need a Doctor,” the first single off Dre’s long awaited, highly anticipated Detox.
According to reports on MisforMusic.com, an insider spoke on the surprise performance.
“Eminem will definitely be performing with Dre on the night, and fans will not be disappointed. He will also be performing one of his Recovery singles but everyone is talking about the Dre duet saying it could be one of the most memorable Grammy moments of all time if everything goes to plan.”
No finalized announcement has been made and the reports have not been confirmed or denied by any of Dr. Dre’s people.
