Drake is, without a doubt, the biggest Hip Hop import our neighbors from the north have ever given us. So it’s not surprising that his home country of Canada is pretty proud of their hometown hero who found international success. And they are rewarding the Young Money emcee with six Juno Award nominations, that’s more than any other artist.

The Juno Awards are the highest honor given by the Canadian music industry, their equivalent to our Grammy Awards. Drake grabbed nods for Best Single, Best Songwriter, Best Rap Recording, and Best Album. The awards will be presented March 27th. Drake will also be hosting the event.

Drake is currently finishing up his follow up to 2010’s Platinum Thank Me Later. The record, tentatively titled Take Care, is scheduled to drop in the spring.
