Lamar Johnson, a 19-year-old teenager from the UK, is in a tremendous amount of legal trouble following an incident involving credit card fraud and hundreds of thousands of dollar’s worth of downloads of his own music.

According to Nexus404.com, Johnson used stolen credit cards to purchase over $700,000 worth of music from an indie techno/Hip-Hop band he and several other friends are a part of. The music was purchased from both Amazon and iTunes.

While an exact amount is uncertain the band clearly made a decent amount in royalties thanks to the fraudulent purchases made by Johnson and about nine other teenagers.

Johnson plead guilty to the charges last week and claimed responsibility for 2,000 of the music downloads.

It is unclear how much time the teen, who already has a record, is looking at for the fraudulent purchases.
