On December 16 at 10pm EST, the A&E network will air The Peacemaker: L.A. Gang Wars. The five-part series chronicles times of tense street gang mediation in South Central, Los Angeles, as seen by professional gang mediator Malik Spellman. With over two hours of total footage, the premiere episode on the 16th will be followed by a second episode right after.

The Peacemaker: L.A. Gang Wars is executive produced by rapper/actor Ice-T. Ice is a pioneer in Gangsta Rap, and has been a voice of Los Angeles (and beyond) for over three decades. With a Rap career spanning over 28 years, Ice-T also recorded the series’ theme song.

Malik Spellman has two decades of experience in the mediation field, and is a 30-year native of South Central.
