The Zeitgeist chart takes note of the number of searches performed each month as well as any significant news. For instance, the chart shows that Nicki Minaj received the highest number of search requests in September shortly after her MTV Video Music Awards performance with will.i.am.

Aside from the “People” category the Zeitgeist chart also features categories for “Sports,” “Music,” “Politics,” and “Fastest Rising Queries.”

The “Music” Zeitgeist chart also consisted of Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, and Kid Cudi but also included rapper Eminem as well. Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber was number one on both the “Music” and “People” chart.
