Jay-Z Backs Kanye West’s George Bush Comments

Kanye West’s “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” comment heard around the world is still a point of contention even five years after the incident. ‘Ye’s statement created debate among Americans, some praising him for his candidness, others berating him for it. This year, Kanye backed off of those words, even apologizing to the former president. However, Jay-Z recently told the Associated Press that he still supports ‘Ye’s statement.

“I 100 percent agreed with the comments that he made, because again…it felt like it was being done to black people,” he said. “Like all you saw on the news was black people with help signs and all this stuff, and then you have this picture of the commander-in-chief, who we all rely on, just flying by.”

George Bush recently said that Kanye West’s infamous statement was one of the lowest points of his presidency, to which Jay-Z says is ridiculous.

“Just the fact that he thinks that the worst thing that happened to him is Kanye saying something about him. Like, what? That alone shows you where his mind is. Are you kidding me?”

Jay-Z is currently out promoting his new book Decoded.

    1. This dude is a fucking clown.
“picture of the commander in chief, who we all rely on”
Dude, the pres is just a spokesperson to carry out orders from the gov’t senate congress, etc. What the hell is GW supposed to do for you, or any other person for that matter. He is just one person. If 300 million people are relying on only 1 person, the pres, to change your life he’s not going to do a goddam thing for you, and there is something wrong with that scenario anyway. Everybody needs to rely upon their own life and the people around them, the pres is not your savior nor is he supposed to be the way gov’t is set up.

GW deserves no flak for this black people white people thing. Its all bullshit. GW was responsible for a shitload of aid to Africa, etc. Katrina was an unfortunate disaster that was made by weather so nobody saw it coming like it did. The issue was all the big organizations FEMA, National Defense, etc. communicating with each other to figure out exactly what to do in the crisis. That was the problem. GW not caring about black people is total bullshit had nothing to do with it. This is such a non story, stupid JayZ is only bringing it up to get his name in the news.

This stupid motherfucker used America to make all this wealth off of some bullshit music that he mostly jacked from other artists. Bullshit, that teenagers pay for, this fucking clown pulls in majority of his wealth off of people 20 years younger than him, buying bullshit, buying CD’s, stuff that amounts to a pile of jack shit. Dude pulls in multi-millions, gets celebrity status, even chilling with Warren Buffet, Oprah, etc. Dude has no right to run his fucking mouth about what other people should do when he has been a huge beneficiary of this country.

What the fuck has this motherfucker JayZ done? Made a TV show for Africa, put a water pipe in that cost $5,000? What the hell else has he done? WHo the fuck is he helping talking that satanic bullshit out his mouth every chance he gets. Dude has made waaaaay more money than the president of this country. Don’t ya’ll understand that? Plus GW & Obama etc bust they ass working its a tough job. Being a president is not easy. What the fuck does this motherfucker do? Go on stage with Kanye & Nicki and rap about some satantic bullshit to mindless puppets who are brainwashed by TV & media and are 20 years younger than him?

Think about it. This clown is 40 years old. He pulls in money off of teenagers off shitty “music”. What the fuck kind of job is that? Is he busting his ass? Does he have all these world leaders and crisis to attend to? No. He should shut his fucking mouth on this issue.

I hate this “GW doesn’t care about black people” issue. Its wasting our time. Its fucking garbage. None of it is true, and if stupid Kanye didn’t run his mouth in the first place it would still be a non issue.

“I felt like it was being done to black people”
Dude the hurricane hit New Orleans which has one of the largest black populations for a city. It was a natural disaster, shit happens. You don’t use that to make it a black/white thing.

“Just the fact that he thinks that the worst thing to happen to him is something Kanye said about him. Like, what? That alone shows you where his mind is. Are you kidding me?
OMG JAYZ ARE YOU THE STUPIDEST PERSON IN THE WORLD!! Kanye already stated that the media spun that issue and it was the media who made it like the worst moment. GW himself said it was ONE of the worst moments. And he said it for a reason. Because these stupid music industry assholes don’t do a goddam thing except party, get wasted, use America to acquire huge amounts of wealth all the while brainwashing teenagers off of bullshit music, and most of it is satanic anyway.
Presidents bust their fucking ass, Pop artists don’t do a goddam thing, not even close to what presidents do.
This fucking issue is bullshit, I’m sick of it.

Hammer should smack this bitch in his face again.
      Teach this pig another lesson.

      1. Hey Tea Party boy, get a life. You just spent a good twenty minutes writing that and ain’t nobody gonna read past the first few sentences. GW was a sad excuse for a President and I’ll leave it at that.

      2. HAHAHAHAHA!!
        Tea party right!!
OMG wake up son could care less about the tea party.
That is my own personal opinion.
You don’t like it so you paint a broad brush and write “tea party” etc.

I don’t give a fuck if nobody reads it, I read it myself. and GW being a sad excuse has nothing to do with this issue. Nothing.

JayZ is a sad excuse for a music artist he talks bullshit out his mouth and wastes teenagers time and money because they are brainwashed by mainstream media.
So I’ll leave it at that.

      3. I enjoyed reading your comment – good on you for having a voice and an opinion.
Your points are well thought out.
Those who are posting replies with criticism are underestimating what it must take to be in charge of one of the world’s superpowers.

      4. I dont know if Jay-z is responsible for brainwashing teenagers or in fact neither do you other than some youtube videos for evidence. Just like some peoples view of the either president ( though its the business world which runs most governments i.e. their interests get promoted, look at any bill thats been gutted by congress.) You really have no facts about Jay-z other than you dont like his music, and you talk about what has Jay-z done to help, ask yourself what have you done, other than spew some opinion which has no evidence to prove it!

      5. “Dude, the pres is just a spokesperson to carry out orders from the gov’t senate congress, etc. What the hell is GW supposed to do for you, or any other person for that matter. He is just one person.”

“Presidents bust their fucking ass, Pop artists don’t do a goddam thing, not even close to what presidents do.”

I’ll just quote you and leave others to ponder the total hypocrisy of your statements.

      6. Finally someone else who understands hthat the president can watch over every rain storm that comes ashore.

The Louisiana Governemt and New Orleans local government are the ones to blame for everything that happened.

its not the presidents job to watch over every rain storm that happens in the country. thats what FEMA, Homeland Security and local governments are for.

It was the state of Louisiana who refused federal advice for a manditory evacuation, it was the local government who refused federal help in getting people evacuated even on a voluntary basis.

Anyone who looks to any celebrity for political advice or views is just another pathetic sheep who doesnt deserve the right to vote.

Jay just goes to further show his ignroance on the subject and proof he has no intention of finding out the truth that really would help people and would much rather just point blame in the name of ignorance.

      7. wow I actually got normal responses for once.

        good stuff.

        @reply
You are correct on one thing. I don’t have that many facts on JayZ. I can’t tell you one way or the other what exactly he does. However I know a few facts and they are important.

1.JayZ backs Kanye’s stupid comments with his own stupid comments.
2.JayZ has sold 20+ million albums or whatever the number is at anywhere from $3.99 to $12.99, plus he has sold many concert tickets from anywhere from $1 to $5000. It was the capitalism and economy of America which gave him the possibility to do so. A large majority of those sales came from people younger than JayZ people who are anywhere from a teenager to in their 20’s, and all they received from their purchase was music or “entertainment” or whatever it is the word you want to call it. They received no tangible goods, nor did they receive anything they could resell at a higher price for profit. Thus JayZ didn’t really help those people out. He just used them for consumers to gain a profit and left them with nothing except the supposed myth of “entertainment”.
3.The content of many JayZ songs are negative with satantic images and portrayals.

Those are the only 3 facts I need to know to make the posts I made. If JayZ really was such a great person who helps people out he would
1.have positive messages in his songs.
        2.not charge teenagers for music.
3.not make stupid comments about people who don’t live the kind of lifestyle that he does.

      8. I also notice that you made a comment on what I do.

What am I supposed to do?
Do I work with mainstream media?
        Am I on TV?
Am I making millions of dollars off of teenagers?
Do you want me to play myself like a puppet to get to that level and if I actually do get to that level will I have the opportunity to expose the media for what they have done or will I only fit in to their agenda or plan and have what I intended to do backfire because the elements are too complex for one person to change. And with all these super billionaries and people who control all the networks and stuff do you really think its possible for me to make a difference in their game the way I want to?
        Think about it.

I can tell you what I DON”T do.
I don’t accept money from people unless I can give them their value back.
I don’t “entertain” people for money, if you are lucky to consider yourself entertained by me I will not accept $1 from you.
I don’t work with mainstream media.
I don’t promote negative or satanic portrayals.
I will not tell you what to do, nor will I ever have any control over you or be able to prevent you from doing what you want to do in any way.

I am simply a person voicing my opinion on a free blog and in stating what I do, it should be enough to let you know that I am doing the right thing.

And if I can help people out in the process I will, but it won’t be for personal accolades.

    2. These music industry assholes be fucking up American youth more than the gov’t because they are teenagers and don’t listen to the gov’t.

They listen to the losers they see on TV flashing pimp status making money, million dollar cars, boats, etc.
That’s who teenagers look up to, because most of them are brainwashed by mainstream media.

People like JayZ that’s who young people look up to, and this fucking clown is fucking up American youth more than the gov’t, becuase youth don’t listen to the gov’t, they pay attention more to the clowns they see on MTV, VH1 etc.

      Fuck this guy.

    3. Dude Kanye himself doesn’t even support those comments. He even said it himself, that to use the word “racist” Kanye said it was wrong, because he didn’t like it when he was accused of being a racist, like he was by many people after the Swift incident. So Kanye himself doesn’t even support these comments. It was a stupid thing to say at the wrong time and only added to the crisis instead of helping people out.

Now this asshole says he supports the comments to put his name in the news.

Shut the fuck up hov, you’re fake son.

    4. This would’ve been news if someone else didn’t already post this same article weeks ago… step your fuckin game up DX.

    5. The fact that Jay supports this war-mongering, corporatist, bankster President Barack Obama, exposes him as a complete fake.

Bush was racist, but Obama’s racist too! He sends predator-drone aircraft over Pakistan and Afghanistan, bombing and killing thousands of Middle Easterners.

    6. Well Bush said it was ONE of his lowest moments, not THE lowest. Check your facts before you talk Jay. I’m sure Obama would be just as offended if someone said he didn’t care about white people on national TV.

    7. Yo Gucci is real hip-hop… who is Jay-Z? No one wants to hear him anymore. Go back to retirement.

      It’s Gucci Time!

    8. Jay-z is a fucking idiot. I wonder if any of them remember that the fucking mayor of New Orleans didnt request help and it is illegal to send federal troops into any southern state without the request of the governor or the mayor. learn your history jay-z . .. thats a law dating back to the civil war

    9. Kanye was a bit of a bitch in that morning show, but you cant blame a man for reflect on his words and have a change of mind.

As for Jay-Z, like someone here said, stop beating a dead horse.

    10. Jay z misquoted like the rest of the media on bush’s statement, as everyone knows he said the racist tag is “one”of his lowest moments.Kanye or jay z shouldn’t judge bush on why he has to pay attention to a rappers comment. A rapper is an ordniary citizen like us, only RICHER. So bush did listen to his comment and reacted and that was good, otherwise kanye would go on saying bush doesn’t care about black people and his comments b.c a famous black man speaks for common black folks. Kanye didn’t have to apologize or even comment for his “speech” that’s 5 years old. Bush is not asking for an apology, he knows kanye said that about him and that’s his reaction. Big deal, kanye apoligizes and then he gets pissed and other’s jump on the bandwagon when bush’s and kanye’s interview was over and done. Move on, why do these rappers take sides when no one is concerned for bush’s opinion on kanye and they don’t jump on bush’s bandwagon. Its betweeen them and a big deal was not made, besides media having fun playing “he said, she said” games.

Jay z should ask the N.O state governor and besides N.O disaster was not like Indonesia or Haiti when the the whole world had to provide for them. Those countries don’t have goverments to aid them, let alone celebrities and common folks within their country to help them like N.O. The rappers don’t care that other countries that face natural calamities have it worse than N.O and black populations. Jay z and kanye should check on indonesia to see why america would aid indonesia and haiti, those people are not black so there you go. They should go the united abominations, its in new york right and ask them aid since he works with them to do his mother teresa thing in africa. Obviously, why would kanye and jay z go to bush on the katrina disaster. They are doing a telethon charity and should focus on encouraging people and not being kids playing name games at the expense of 1 white man.

    11. WTF R U DUMMIES TALKIN ABT..since when did this become a republican msg board..shut yall stupid ass up..YE’ SAID WTF HE MEANT..he just want some of that cash..yall stupid ass eminem lovin country ass lames..OBAMA doin what he gotta do..work within this stupid ass system that serves the rich.this man was doomed from the start..a blk man sent to save the world..fucouttahere..the man before him aint do shit but go on vacation and bring taxes down for the rich(who never needed them in the first place) and his buddies just got re-elected like they aint just send this bitch into the ground over the last ten years..OBAMA is a fuckin scapegoat within a party full of traitors..you think the world aint watchin this shit..this shit bein played out on tv everyday..the democrats is weak..and the republicans about to have us living in the stone age..a bunch of crackers who dont believe in shit but cash..had a bunch of “old” ppl with medicare on tv screamin about they dont want gov’t healthcare? and white ppl..so eager to vote against the blk man..voted against themselves..that aint racism?..he already rich..and his party is pussies..with that said Obama has proven to be a good leader..although he has the disposition of bein black in a country not ready for change but acted like they was..who the fuc voted against what they wanted in the first place..them dummies will look stupid as fuck when they see him get re-elected..vote the traitors out…get some fresh, young dudes in there who gon’ ride with they president..you dont put more old white dudes with prejudice in office to get a job done..GEORGE BUSH DOES NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE…sorry for the rant

      1. you do know that during the bush adminstration there were more blacks in all branches of government on a federal level than at any other point in history, including your saviour Nobama.

your whole aregument is just abunch of ignorant ramblings. learn something and then come back here and try it again.

      2. nothin about anything i say is ignorant homie..like i previously stated take yo republican ass elsewhere and lower some taxes with yo do-nothing ass…of course he was able to appoint blacks..Obama-the first blk president..would never be able to do that without scrutiny..but you wouldnt understand that not being black and all…if theres a black boss of a major corp..they will definitely be flanked by a posse of white men..we live by different codes..the same reason Obama will not be “rolling up his sleeves” anytime soon..as all of the media keeps suggesting he should..then he will labeled as an “angry” blk man..something none of u wanna see..as far as Bush goes..he also started two unpaid wars..lowered taxes for everybody?..so he couldnt pay for the shit..took a budget surplus and sent it to hell..the top 2 percent of the nation tripled there wealth..almost erased the middle class..let banks and the “free” market lose there minds..sent this bitch almost into a depression..gas prices tripled in one decade..in 1999..i was payin 99cents for gas lame..not to mention he co-owns them..let his vice president shoot a nigga…fucouutahere with that bullshit..take that shit to dumass fox news with them dumass people they preach that goofy shit too…go vote for sarah palin dumass and let America become a nation full of dummies..who dont believe in gov’t control over anything..except everything that have to do with shit they dont believe in..like abortion and gay marriage and other shit that shouldnt concern them gun-toting idiots..

      3. “a nation full of dummies”
I hear what you are saying here.
You are correct about the evils of gov’t, however we don’t know exactly who is responsible, people like Obama, Palin etc are just figureheads to carry out orders. Whether Obama or Palin or whoever is there or not the system will just find another person to do what they want them to do.

I’m just trying to find out here what exactly does JayZ or the music industry do that is better than the gov’t?

They charge teenagers for money. They trick them into believing they can live the kind of lifestyle they portray. Many times the lifestyle that is portrayed is not really what those people do. They get high schoolers and young people arguing and bickering over who is “cooler” or more “popular”. They don’t give people anything to eat, wear, use for their house, or anything they can resell for a profit. They just leave teenagers with an illusion of a life that is not real, the myth that they were “entertained”, while the teenagers pay and they collect the profits. They use mainstream media in similiar ways as the gov’t to achieve the financial success they look to achieve. There is also the possiblity that the gov’t works WITH the music industry to manipulate people and take advantage of the population.

If JayZ doesn’t try and make a million albums and make a million dollars off of suspect content that may have a very negative message the industry will struggle to find someone else to play that role. Whereas if Obama or Palin don’t run for office the gov’t will still operate 100% functionally at all levels.

So I don’t see the point of making it look like the music industry is better than what the gov’t does. Obviously the gov’t does it on a much larger scale however there are many different positions and levels associated with gov’t. With the music industry its all the same thing. Its the regular workers making regular wages and the people that the media prop up to be bigger than life super celebrities set out to make millions of dollars.

      4. i hear what u sayin mane but the difference between the music industry and govt’ is that the gov’t decides how much is coming out of my paycheck every week..the govt’ decides how much money is spent on my community..the govt’ decides if i’ll even have a pension..the govt’ decides of i can drive on “real” streets and not dirt roads..i see shit everyday that decisions that are made on my behalf directly associated with the govt’..the musci i buy is my choice..i choose which artists get my money..people make people larger than life..i should be allowed to pay for entertainment..they are providing a service..i love music..i aint no casual fan..i dont mind a couple dollars towards something that brings me enjoyment..i have to give money to the govt’ whether i like who’s runnin it or not..and that is the difference

      5. Yes you are correct there are differences.
However there are many similiarites as well and many things that the gov’t or music industry does negatively affects the population.

Its your choice if you want to pay for music. Its also your choice of what country you want to live in, if you live here. If you don’t like US gov’t you can go to another country.

What the gov’t controls in media so does the music industry. You may say you have the choice to pay for music, however you will not get the choice of who you want the labels to sign.
The only choices you get to pay for music or watch on MTV, VHI etc, are the choices that the labels picked for you.

So they are controlling you in a simliar way to the gov’t. They are limiting your opportunities and telling you what is available and what is not.

And while you write “I should be allowed to pay for entertainment”
You should also be allowed to be entertained without having to pay, because entertainers entertain themselves with their own entertainment.

Do you think when JayZ takes the stage, all the attention is on him and he gets to sing all his favorite songs, make a shitload of money, and give all the shoutouts he wants to all the people and friends that helps him along the way. All the while he has all these nut crazed fans cheering every move he makes. Do you think he is entertained? Do you think he is having fun? Of course he is.

JayZ sat around with his friends and made fun beats on a keyboard, that is how he achieved his status.
Political figures did paperwork and homework and studied and moved up with office jobs, that is how they achieve their status. There is nothing enteraining about handling business in high pressure situations with world leaders.
There is plenty of stuff that is entertaining about singing songs with your friends.

Both the gov’t and music industry use mainstream media to try and gain financial profits from the population. So the music industry isn’t doing a goddam thing to protect you from any rights the gov’t is trying to take away from you and that is the point.

        Gov’t takes your check right?
        Gov’t takes your pension right?
Gov’t tells you what roads to drive right?

Well guess what. The music industry isn’t doing a goddam thing to help you out in any of those scenarios. If anything they are making it more difficult for you to deal with those problems and are possibly working with gov’t to further take advantage of you.

      1. unless you are very rich? and i highly doubt that..wtf r u talkin about..are you suggesting that people who listen to hiphop are not educated enough to understand the complexities of politics…or are you just a blind Rush Limbaugh follower..you do know these dudes are tryin to take us back to 1776..even proposing that to be allowed to vote..you have to own property..so if i rent an apartment..you tellin me i cant vote..fucouttahere..is that why you are anonymous..lame

    12. Love ATL2Trill’s comment… That’s hilarious.

I will say that I totally agree with Jay-Z that Bush’s statement about that being the lowest point of his presidency shows Bush’s perspective. But, Bush was all about Republican black people. The point is that it is no longer correct to just break it down to strict racism. Bush let what happened to NO happen because they were poor AND BLACK- although mainly because they were poor, not solely because they were black. Hip-Hop Heads – and also these gangsters who are parts of gangs that really are just acting like large corporations – need to recognize this is not some war of whites vs. the rest. This is not even a war. It’s a society where we need to try to uplift the poor people and provide everyone with equal opportunity.

      1. ok but bush didn’t create a hurricane nor did he prevent anybody from helping anybody out. He is just a figurehead to carry out the orders of all the major corporations FEMA, NAFTA, military, Ray Nagan whatever it is. And until all those corporations met with an agreement there was nothing he could do.

People who have money have the best opportunity to help people out.
Brett Favre personally flew his own plane out there to help people out.
Does JayZ have millions of dollars?
Of course so he could have been down in New Orleans in 3 hours if he wanted to so don’t front.

New Orleans was a very complex and complicated natural disaster that nobody saw coming. Yes we knew New Orleans was below sea level and was in a hurricane zone, however nobody could have predicted the enormous impact of the storm.
Rich/Poor Black/White is not the issue here.

Its who has the opportunity to help people out and whether or not they do so.

      2. JayZ actually had a better chance to help people out in New Orleans than Bush did.
Because JayZ has the kind of money that top political figures have and he is his own person who can act on his own actions.
He doesn’t have to wait on the orders of other top leaders or corporations. He doesn’t make the decsicions of a group of gov’t branches. He doesn’t make descisions that other people are forced to follow.

JayZ is his own individual, he doesn’t have a job to carry out gov’t orders. He has money and could have been down in New Orleans 3 hours after the storm had hit. That’s what Brett Favre did, he flew his own plane down there immediately. And you didn’t see Favre make any stupid comments about black/white rich/poor bush/new orleans.

      3. @OK: I don’t know really why you deserve responding, you obviously are out of your mind. For everyone else’s sake, I will respond…
Bush was to blame for the Katrina disaster, first off. The federal government did nothing for about the first week after it hit. What in the world was that about? I think it was because the rich people got out of there and the poor, mostly black people didn’t. Bush was on vacation, and didn’t do anything. He had appointed the head of FEMA whose only experience was in Persian horses, look it up. Were you even alive when Katrina happened? Were you high on crack?

@Actually: No, Bush is not the President of the US charged with all the executive powers to use the force of the military and coast guard to save the people. So, no, he did not have as much power. Btw, I heard that he donated $1M to the victims after Katrina, so he did do something.

Man, you people are seriously underinformed.

      4. same post, again it makes no sense.

        A major hurricane hits.
You think everybody is going to wait on Bush only?
What if Bush makes an order that FEMA does not agree with, what if Bush makes an order that Ray Nagan, does not agree with, or the military, or National Security or any one of those. If they don’t agree with Bush they aren’t going to do what he tells them because he said so. Gov’t doesn’t work like that. They have to get all sides to agree before they take action.

However any normal citizen with money and a private plane could have been down there just like Brett Favre was in 24 hours.
Regardless of what Bush does, other people in the country could have acted just as fast to help people. They wouldn’t have been able to help as much, but they could have made a difference.

This was a crisis a disaster. Not an act or declaration of war, it wasn’t a terror attack, it happened from nature.

When a natural disaster hits, anybody in the area or anybody with a lot of money and private planes and resources can help people out.

        What did JayZ do?
        What did Kanye do?
How can they criticize the president in that fashion when they could have hopped on a plane and been down there in 24 hours.

Like I said, people like Brett Favre they are the only ones who could criticize Bush in that fashion because he actually did something. JayZ and Kanye didn’t do anything. Yes Kanye helped with the telethon but he ruined it by saying something stupid.

If JayZ hops on a plane and is in New Orleans in 3 hours which he 100% COULD HAVE DONE WITH THE RESOURCES AND FINANCES HE HAS then he can talk shit.
Otherwise shut up because he didn’t do anything either.

This was not a war or terror attack it was a natural disaster.

    13. to good stuff, one what satanic messages. your on a hip hop site. where rappers have compared themselves to lucifer on many of occassion. what images are you speaking of, some third world order garbage. My problem isnt so much your beef with jay-Z is that you hold a rapper to more accountability then a president. kinda of backwards isnt? Yeah Katrina was the result of some state and local stupidity. But you mention FEMA and homeland security which are both apart of the FEDERAL government as well. last time I checked the president of the United States was ahead of that. Im not going to get into this ignorant devil worship secert society crap that people have bought into cause of the internet videos. What I meant by what have you done is, wheres your daily life like, do you participate in politics do you try to voulnteer your time to help these so called, “brainwashed” teenagers. or do you go at a Rapper on a blog site. If your more worried about a Rapper than your government then it says a lot about your worldview

      1. not at all.
what you posted is not what I wrote.
I’m not holding a rapper for more accountability than a president.

I’m telling you that neither one really does stuff to help out the population and both work hand in hand with mainstream media.

FEMA and National Securtiy are not the president, yes technically he is the commander in chief, but he can only act when he has orders from the heads of those corporations to do so, which means it actally takes more time for the president to make a move than an individual citizen during a crisis. When FEMA and National Securites make their move THEN the president can make his. The president cannot make a deciscion that those groups do not agree with because he has to wait for their approval. He is not a dictator. If FEMA wants to do one thing and National Security wants to do another thing, the president can’t tell both to shut up and do whatever he tells them.

As far as an individual goes, especially if they have millions of dollars, they can act right away because they don’t have to wait for approval or to reach agreements with other various major corporations. That’s what Brett Favre did. He made moves right away. He didn’t wait for anyone’s approval because he didn’t have to, and what he did nobody was forced to follow. Favre didn’t run his mouth, he took care of business case closed, dude took his own plane right away and was in New Orleans in less than 24 hours and he helped people out with what he could do.

As far as the satanic images are concerned if you make a song called lucifer or make constant references to religion obviously someway somehow there are satanic potrayals. The youtube videos have nothing to do with it. Its the lyrics, the hand signs, and the content that matters. And many songs that JayZ has written directly references those satanic subjects and remember he profits off of that as well. Its one thing to worship satan, its another to try and profit off of that mentality. JayZ has way more satanic references in his content than the average music artist and that is a fact with or without the youtube videos.

As far as what I do, I already wrote that at the end of the page.
What do you want me to do?

Are you holding me for more accountability than a famous rapper and president?
Do you think I’m going to get myself in that position very easily with how I feel on certain issues, do you think its even possible for me to get that far with mainstream media the way I think and act?
        Think about it.

I’m doing everything I can do.

    14. If there is a problem with society is that everyone puts way to much stock in fame and celebrity and doesnt focus on whose really controlling their everyday lives. So why we argue over Jay-Z “satanic” images and cults which are so secert but somehow someone on Youtube could know all the images and what the mean. Which by the way has no impact on you either way, your gas prices are high, as well as unemployment as well the United States economy which is in this mess because of the domestic and foreign policies the past presidents from Ronald to George Bush made. So again I say worry about those who run your government and leave Jay-Z to what he is an artist.

      1. You are wrong.
Fame and celebrity made their name off of the backs of regular folks.
That is how they became celebrities or famous, the regular folks put them there in that position, and the famous/celebrity accepted that, they accepted the income and finances that came along with that.
Nobody has to be a billionaire.
They can take the money they got and immediately give it back to regular folks. It is their choice. If someone becomes famous or celebrity it is because they made the choice to be in a position to influence mass population whether mass population agreed with it, was brainwashed or whatever.

The rest of your past make absoluetly no sense. JayZ as a music artist, works WITH mainstream media he works WITH the gov’t. The gov’t controls all the media which makes it possible to become a superstar.

JayZ and the music industry are in someway actually running part of the gov’t, because they are using the same tools that gov’t uses and approves of and controls.

And the economy is in this mess because of the movie and music industry as well as the gov’t. Where is a movie ticket price going? Where is a CD price going? Its going to the big CEO’s and corporations who control and run mainstream media duh and that is part of the gov’t.

The music industry is part of the gov’t. And some of the people in the music industry are economically making close to what some of the big CEO’s are making and gov’t officials so how can you say that the economic mess is caused by gov’t alone when some of these music stars are worth 20$MIl to $500MIl on forbes lists? Obviously they are affecting the economy as well. Whether it is positive or negative we really can’t be sure for each individual but we can sure take a look around and see that the economy as a whole does not look good.

So stop acting like the music industry people are your heroes and saving you from gov’t because it is not true they are working with gov’t.
They have similarites and differences but they have one thing in common.
They both try and profit off of regular folks through brainwashing tactics of mainstream media.

      1. OMG you posted bullshit.
National Guard was in there in less than 72 hours we’re talking about army tanks, hellicopters were on roof tops pulling people out immediately within hours.

Bush can be partially blamed, but in no way should he be solely responsible for what happened and does not deserve ridiculous criticism.

We are talking about a category 5 hurricane on a city below sea level. It was a natural disaster. Bush is 1 person, you want him to stop the hurrican himself? OMG stop being stupid. The entire country could have acted right away if they had the money to do so.
I told ya’ll. Favre was on his plane right away, what was JayZ doing, what was Kanye doing? Did Favre make a stupid statment? No he walked the walk. Plain and simple. End of story.

Also stop saying for everyone’s sake you speak for yourself and that’s it.

      2. You’re seriously uninformed.

the federal government was on the Lousianan & NO govenments once they knew Katrina was going to hit the area, atleast a week before landfall. telling them to evacuate the citizens but the state government refused their advice and help.

    16. Read this column by Krugman and weap. I said I wrote for everyone else’s sake – not because I speak for them, expletive – but because I am writing only to let the truth be known. I know that you cower from the truth the way a vampire flees the sun.
      http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/02/opinion/02krugman.html?_r=1

Are you trying to say that the federal government’s response to Katrina under Bush was adequate? That Bush didn’t screw up there? If so, go join a Tea Party, expletive, expletive, expletive.

p.s. OMG!! You need to read more.

      1. dude I’m not a teapartier, I don’t give a shit about that crap I’m giving you my own personal opinion, mixed with facts.

Yes the federal gov’t reaction under Bush was inadequte it was not handled properly.
However the criticism that Bush received from Kanye and now Jayz is not valid and not appropriate because that is not the issue. Bush does not deserved to be criticized in that fashion, yes he messed up he may have made mistakes but remember he is in a very difficult and high priority situation and black/white rich/poor was NOT the issue.

With the vampire shit I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.

        The truth is this.
Brett Favre shut his mouth and hopped on a plane straight to New Orleans.
Kanye & JayZ ran their mouth and did jack shit.
That’s the point of the story.

The other point of the story is that the music industry works with the gov’t in a similar fashion with mainstream media to make money off the general public. So “music” isn’t the answer to corrupt “gov’t” and for people to think so they are immature and brainwashed.

Music industry don’t give a fuck about you, they want your money.
Gov’t don’t give a fuck about you, they want your money.

      2. Using the most liberal biased publication in the country doesnt give your arguement any support.

its not the presidents job to watch over every rain storm in the country.

thats what FEMA & homeland security are for.

    17. music industry people have no right to critize personal individuals in gov’t like that because music industry people DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT PEOPLE EITHER!!

They try and say oh look gov’t is corrupt buy my album I’ll help you out with my shitty music, I mean give me a break.

JayZ don’t give a fuck about people, neither does Kanye so for them to criticize Bush like that it makes no sense because they are not helping people out either.

If a normal citizen would have went on live TV and said something about the gov’t and not just Bush personally in a similair fashion it would have made a lot more sense.

But for someone like Kanye who has made millions off of the public through mainstream media and JayZ who does the same thing to say this stuff it makes no sense.
Because JayZ is trying to say look Bush is a bad guy I’m a good guy I’ll help you out, but he DOESN”T!! He doesn’t give a fuck either.

JayZ & Kanye made millions by selling CD’s and concert tickets to teenagers who went home with nothing. No food, clothes, nothing for their house, nothing to resell for profit. Just the myth of “entertainment” I mean cmon man this is ridiculous these people don’t have the public’s back. They are pullin in millions off of bullshit they affect the economy as well. The money people like Kanye & Jayz make its NOT going back to the regular folks, if it did the economy wouldn’t be as bad as it is. The gov’t does the same thing.
Neither one of them has the public’s back.

    18. I know Kanye retracted part of his Katrina statement but think about it.

Kanye is worth what $20 MIL+
JayZ is worth what $200 MIL+
and they are criticizing the gov’t?
      Really?
This economy gave those dudes the opportunity to pull in ridiculous salaries man, off of what music? shitty music? really?

I mean cmon man. I’m glad people make money and are successful that’s great but if you take more than you give you’re not doing the right thing.

And if you take more than you give and make $20-200 MIL+ who the fuck are you to criticize one individual in the gov’t?

The gov’t helped you make all that fuckin money because they control mainstream media give me a break man.
      Think for once.

    19. I’ll never understand why the public would back a JayZ or Kanye either.
JayZ and Kanye are in similar positions as Bush.
JayZ Kanye & Bush are much more similair to each other than either one is to the regular folks or the average public.

They make big money, they get celebrity A status. They pull in big big big big money.

You can dislike the gov’t, dislike Bush no problem, but when you do so you better dislike Kanye & JayZ as well because none of those people are really helping any of you out.

You think Kanye & JayZ are saving you from the evils of gov’t?
I mean cmon man give me a break.

Obama calls JayZ on the phone and says Mr. JayZ how are you doing today sir, and Jayz says back Mr. Obama how are you doing today sir.

Give me a break man. These people know each other. Jayz meets with Rockefeller, Soros, Buffet etc. those dudes turn around and meet with the pres Obama etc.

    20. and what the hell did you do JayZ?
      You sat on your ass.
You didn’t fly a hellicopter into New Orleans and reached out your hand to pull poor black people off of a roof.

You made shitty music and charged teenagers for it.
Pres flew by in a plane huh?
Well guess what you got money to buy the same plane so cut the bullshit.

      1. I’m not one to stick up for Jay Z per se, but I remember he gave $1 million or something like that. Granted, it’s a write-off for him, but still he did it.
If every one of the rich atheletes ,entertainers, rappers etc would do that, we could solve alot of “the communities” problems on our own! Liek how Warwick Dunn builds houses for people, why don’t more people do that, instead of buying more cars or some ish

    21. Jayz will make a song called “I hate George Bush”
Then you brainwashed folks will be like yeah I hate George Bush too.
So you’ll go out and spend $9.99 to buy the CD “I hate George Bush”
Then Jayz will take that $9.99 and order filet mingon with it.

I mean give me a fuckin break.
      Wake up people.

Hero Kanye and Hero Jayz are not your answer to Evil Bush.
They are just using the situation to futher profit off of you or add to their popularity and mainstream media attention.

    22. People who argue about a celebrity’s status are so confused! An artist, entertainer, and author all make their income in similar ways. Business is business. If you don’t like it, then don’t buy it, but don’t knock em’. Can you seriously say you have no need for music (whatever your preference), radio, and T.V.? Should cell phone companies be blamed for thriving off of poor people’s back? People make money, and do what ever they want with it. Nobody threatend anyone to buy anybody’s product. Celebrity status is due to the amount of fans one generates. I know you bloggers have brains, please take a moment to use it for once. By law, the U.S. government is sworn to protect the land of america however they see fit as long as it’s ethical. That’s why opinions (and I repeat), opinions were made about Bush’s handling of Hurricane Katrina. No one in New Orleans depended on Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet, but help would’ve been nice, although not mandatory. THINK ABOUT THIS PEOPLE…. THINK!

      1. fuck celebrites who are out for themselves
and fuck the media who brainwashes people in the name of financial profit.
        case closed, plain and simple.

        your post is total bullshit.
you wrote bullshit in the hopes to get more people to buy useless products.

    23. don’t knock people who make millions of dollars off of teenagers through brainwashing tactics of mainstream media? money that goes more to elitists than it does back into the community?

      really dude?

      how about fuck em
      fuck those morons.
