In a recent interview with JumpOffTV, Boston native, Brooklyn-based Statik Selektah revealed that his next album, Population Control will release courtesy of Duck Down Records.

In addition to his own Show Off Records imprint, the 1982 member has previous partnered with Brick/Traffic records for his mixtape albums. He released 100 Proof (The Hangover) earlier this year, prior to his Termanology-partnership, 1982, which released last month.

In other news, Los Angeles Hip Hop duo People Under The Stairs will release their first-ever DVD on December 7. Thes One and Double K will unveil 10 Year Anniversary Set DVD, which features over 50 songs from the group’s six albums, all performed at the El Rey Theatre in their hometown. The footage is intercut with behind-the-scenes interviews with the group who’s last album, Carried Away, was released last October.

Lastly, Long Island, New York emcee Roc Marciano will release his Marcberg to vinyl in the near future. The new version will feature the track “Scarface Nigga”, as well as a Sean Price-featured version of “Snow”. Fat Beats Records will release the updated version, as they had the digital and CD formats, along with an EP pre-release on vinyl. (November 20)

UPDATE: Roc Marciano’s Marcberg Reloaded will released on vinyl on February 1, 2011. The two aforementioned tracks have been released to iTunes.
