Kanye West has apparently revealed to New York Magazine new artwork for his upcoming fifth LP My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Painted by George Condo, the artist behind the five other covers for ‘Ye’s album, this latest piece of artwork had been dubbed “The Priest”. Condo discussed the inspiration for this most recent piece for Mr. West.
“[Kanye and I] talked about paintings in the early baroque era depicting religious figures, and wanted to push that out into the open in today’s world,” Condo said. “It mirrors the ‘paranoid’ riff on one of the tracks.” (NYMag.com)

I’ll back it up…because for the type of music that Kanye has made in the past, which is what creates FANS, this album isn’t what we were BUILT to enjoy from Kanye. It’s a difference between fans and stans. Fans are conditioned to like an artist based on what they do. Im a FAN! And I was conditioned to like a certain brand of Hip Hop from Kanye. STANS don’t care WHAT the artist does because they are so into the artist that the artist could BREATHE on the tracks and the stans are gonna call it a classic.
So as a FAN of the 1st 3 Kanye albums, this one has 2-3 good joints. The rest are weirdo ish, weak beats, or just plain too poppy.
PS: I think “The Truth” is Kanye LOL.
