During the biggest growth in his career, Atlanta, Georgia emcee Gucci Mane was under the management wing of Deborah Atney and Mizay Entertainment. In May of this year, the Warner Brothers/Asylum Records star left Atney to seek new management. This decision affected Gucci’s group, the Brick Squad, which consists of Atney’s son, rapper Waka Flocka Flame and OJ Da Juiceman.

Subsequently, Gucci Mane did not appear on Waka’s Flockaveli debut, although the Top 20 debut was released on Gucci’s own 1017 Brick Squad imprint.

Yesterday, XXLMag.com reported that Mizay and Gucci Mane have reunited, and the company will resume to handling his management. Within her exclusive statement to XXL, Atney stated that she loves the rapper like a relative.
