The Star & Buc Wild Morning Show Returns To Weekday Radio

On Monday, November 8, top-rated radio host, writer and author Troi “Star” Torain will bring his “The Star & Buc Wild Morning Show” back to weekday airwaves, via Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s 100.3 The Beat FM station. Star and Buc Wild will be joined by longtime staff member “White Trash Helene,” and will air from 6am to 10am EST in the Delaware Valley.

Since mid-September, Star and company have appeared on The Beat for weekend mornings.

A onetime writer for The Source magazine, Star and his team began in radio in the early 1990s, taking the show to syndication as one of the top morning shows in the nation. Based out of Philadelphia, Hartford, New York and Brooklyn over the years, the show has featured numerous Hip Hop artists as guests, and prominently features Rap music and discussion.

The Beat’s morning show spot has previously been held by former HipHopDX blogger Charlamagne as well as emcee-turned-radio host Monie Love. Five years ago, “The Star & Buc Wild Morning Show” was syndicated on The Beat’s biggest competition, Philadelphia’s Power 99 station.

    1. I have to find a way to stream that station. I hope they can bring it back to the Hot 97/Power 105 days and not that sh*t from that dance station they were last seen on in NYC.
