“Though the website has been gaining in popularity I always knew that one day we would return to our print roots.” says Hoodgrown‘s CEO, Chris English. “This app allows us to combine the best of the print and web experience in a whole new package.”

The download will be free on iTunes.

In related news, last week, Bronx, New York-based legendary producer Buckwild teamed with Tampa, Florida’s emcee/producer Celph Titled to release Nineteen Ninety Now. The album combines hard-nosed rhymes from Celph, overtop unused mid-1990s beats from the D.I.T.C. producer, who was working with O.C., Big L and Nas at the time.
