This past Thursday Wiz Khalifa invited one of Hip Hop’s biggest names to share the stage with him at his Los Angeles concert. That guest was non-other than Diddy and according to the Pittsburgh emcee the two have become fast friends and will eventually collaborate in the studio. Speaking with HardKnockTV Khalifa had this to say about the Bad Boy CEO, “That was my first time meeting him face to face. I’d actually had a couple of phone calls with him just chopping it up…Right now we’re just hanging out partying. And we’re gonna do some music. We’re gonna do some Ciroc things.”

Along with sharing a stage with the Steel City rapper Diddy also paid the up and comer a huge compliment. Wiz says, “[Diddy] was like, “Man, you remind me of Snoop, you got the Snoop [Dogg] aura.” Though that comparison is apparently nothing new to the leader of the so-called “Taylor Gang” who says he’s been hearing it since he first came up.

Speaking on his new album, whose lead single “Black & Yellow” is garnering some heavy airplay, Khalifa said there is “no release date for it yet but definitely next year, early next year. We ain’t gonna waste no time.” He also suggested another possible collaborator who may appear on the album, “I’m gonna be working with [Rick] Ross…That’s the homie.”
