Now that the Miami Dolphins have shared that Cash Money’s Birdman will not have any ownership in the team the rapper has already moved on to other business ventures.

Birdman’s next venture? Interestingly enough the rapper has scored a book deal with notable publisher Simon & Schuster. Birdman recently spoke to NBC Miami about the deal and the expansion of Cash Money.

“We publishing books. We bought Iceberg Slim whole collection,” Birdman revealed. “I’m just trying to grow as a team. We a publishing company, a merch company. And the books and movies…It’s all circling to our entertainment. I didn’t want to go too far out the entertainment. So I think the book is something that can go with the music. Publishing goes with the music. The merch goes with the music. And the movies go with the music so we stay within our realm to me. But always trying to grow and expand and do different things.”
