The nominations for the Soul Train Awards were announced on Monday (October 18), with Usher and Alicia keys leading the pack with four apiece.
The nominations come four days after Alica Keys gave birth to her first child, son Egypt.
In addition to Keys and Usher, who collaborated on the song “My Boo” several years ago, other multi-nominees included Drake with three, and Monica, Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu and Sade with two.

A special legend award is set to be given to Ron Isely and Anita Baker. The show, which will be hosted by “Hustle and Flow” co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, includes scheduled performances from Eyrkah Badu, Janelle Monae and Cee-Lo.
